THE DIAGNOSTIC

One problem, looked at properly before anything is built.

Before we build a fix, we find out what the problem costs you and what would end it. The diagnostic is short, paid work done against your own numbers, and it ends in one report written for your business.

Your time

Up to eight hours, most of it in the deep dives

Your records

  • Invoices
  • Call log
  • Diary

In the deep dives

  • Who chases a late invoice, and when?
  • What happens to a call after 5pm?
  • Where does the week’s time actually go?

How It Runs

  1. Information in.

Once the diagnostic is agreed in writing, we send a short list of the records the problem touches: invoices, call logs, the diary or a spreadsheet. The diagnostic starts when they arrive.

  2. Deep dives with you and your team.

We go through the numbers with you and whoever you think best from your team. We ask what the numbers raise, and you can ask us anything.

  3. The report.

We aim to have it with you within three working days of the deep dives, using frameworks proven over fifteen years of this work.

Your Time

Up to eight hours in all, most of it in the deep dives. Nobody knows how your business really runs better than you do, and the report is only as good as what you tell us.

What The Report Gives You

One answer, written for your business. It names the gaps and what each one costs you, the fix we recommend, and what that fix costs to build, to put in and to run. It sets the one number the fix will be judged on. If no fix would pay for itself, the report tells you.

Why It Comes First

Most of what a problem costs sits in records nobody has added up. For fifteen years our work has been walking into businesses we had never seen, finding which problem costs the most and deciding what to fix first. The diagnostic uses that method on one problem in your business. AI reads through your records in hours, so the whole thing takes days.

After The Report

If you go ahead, part of the diagnostic fee comes off the build. If you don’t, the report is still yours. The price depends on the size of your business, and we agree it on the first call, before you sign anything.

Pick One Problem

Tell us which one. We’ll tell you whether it’s worth looking at, and what finding out would take.
